Swedish Håkan Ludwigson has worked, the past 40 years, as a travel and advertising photographer, with some of the world’s largest magazines and brands on his customer list. In addition, he has won several prizes, held exhibitions and published numerous books.
Ludwigson’s images are described as the cutting edge between documentary and fine art photography, whilst simultaneously adding his personal pictorial language. He is known for his photographic versatility, which includes his personal projects.
One of his projects came to life when, early in his career, he travelled across Australia documenting cattlemen and their work. These pictures, recalled from hibernation a few years ago, have since then been shown at many exhibitions and will soon be published in book form titled “Balls and Bulldust”.
