Over the past 30 years photojournalist Peter Turnley has traveled around the world and documented most of the major events of importance. The Gulf War, the fall of the Berlin wall, the liberation of Nelson Mandela, the September 11 attacks and the earthquake in Haiti in 2011 are just some of these. Among his works are also several portraits of famous world leaders, like Obama, Yeltsin, Putin, Gaddafi and Reagan, and long-term  projects on everyday life in Paris and in Cuba.

(Norsk tekst:) De siste 30 årene har fotojournalist Peter Turnley reist verden rundt og dokumentert de fleste store hendelser av betydning. Gulfkrigen, Berlinmurens fall, frigjøringen av Nelson Mandela, angrepene 11. september og jordskjelvet i Haiti i 2011 er bare noen av disse. Blant hans arbeider er også en rekke portretter av kjente verdensledere, som Obama, Jeltsin, Putin, Gaddafi og Reagan, samt lengre prosjekter om hverdagslivet i Paris og på Cuba. .
