PHOTOGRAPHIC EXCURSION to GRIP
Take a break from the lectures and join us on a photographic excursion! During this year’s festival, on Tuesday 21st and Sunday 26th April, we are arranging trips to the beautiful island of Grip, situated outside Kristiansund. The island invites many a good photo opportunity and especially a social interaction with photographers and other festival visitors.
Grip lies in the Atlantic Ocean about 12 kilometres and a 45-minute boat ride North West of Kristiansund. Until 1964, it was Norway’s smallest province, 0.48 square kilometres large and a population of 115. Today, Grip is the smallest suburb of Kristiansund with a settlement of summer cabins. In addition, the countries tiniest stave church, tallest lighthouse and smallest fire truck are found here.
The excursion lasts about 4 hours and includes light refreshments.
