After more than 30 years of work in the field of drama and theatre, Siri Dannevig got a new impulse and decided to end that era of her life. When she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2009, her first thought was: Now I can start photographing!

According to Siri, a theatre performance is a piece of art in the moment, alive here and now. When creating a photography, we try to catch the moment, to keep it forever.
For her, working with photography is often a kind of staging, but she always leaves some part of the process to accidental circumstances. She arranges for the unexpected to happen.
